Since 1996, New Generation has been a cornerstone of the community, dedicated to providing quality education for children. We are more than just a daycare; we are a comprehensive childcare, preschool, and after-school facility offering care for children up to 12 years old. Our programs include care for toddlers, preschoolers, Pre-K, after-school care, and camps. Program Director
Joshua Harper is the Program Director at the New Generation Learning Center, where he brings a strong passion for early childhood education. With a degree in Child Care Administration from Huston Tillotson University, Joshua is committed to providing quality education and care for children. He previously worked in the childcare field and has found a genuine love for it. Joshua and his family recently moved to Whitehouse from Houston and are excited to be part of the New Gen community. Joshua's dedication to education and his desire to make a positive impact in the company and in the lives of the children he serves make him an asset to the team.

Shelly Boyd
Program Coordinator
Shelly Boyd serves as the Program Coordinator at New Generation Learning Center, where she is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. With a background in marketing and valuable experience within the organization, Shelly brings a strong foundation in program coordination and family engagement. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, deepening her expertise in child development and early education.
As a proud wife and mother, Shelly’s passion for early childhood education extends beyond the classroom—both of her children attend New Generation, reinforcing her personal connection to the school community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, exploring nature, and creating lasting memories. Shelly is excited to continue supporting students, families, and educators in her role, ensuring that every child receives exceptional care and education.
